Yes. The online MCA offered by GLA Online University is covered under the approval of the University Grants Commission-DEB (Distance Education Bureau) and other statutory bodies, therefore valid for employment, further studies and government examinations.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised university preferably with a background in Science, Computer Applications or IT.
The program is designed to be completed in approximately 2 years (4 semesters) for students who meet the standard eligibility criteria.
The program provides a flexible learning structure with recorded lectures, interactive content, on-demand modules and a schedule that allows students to balance their personal or professional commitments alongside their studies.
The online division of GLA Online University offers career-services support including resume building, mock interviews, mentorship and access to job opportunities via industry partnerships.
Graduates can pursue roles such as Software Developer, Database Administrator, Systems Analyst, Network Security Specialist, Data Scientist, and may also progress to higher studies (e.g., MPhil/PhD) or professional certifications in specialised domains.
