At GLA Online, we follow a relative grading system based on a ten-point letter scale to ensure a fair and comprehensive assessment of learners' performance.

Each letter grade reflects the level of academic achievement and carries corresponding grade points that contribute to Semester Grade Point Average (SGPA) and Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

Assessment Structure

Each course is evaluated out of 100 marks.

Each practical/lab course is evaluated out of 100 marks in the term-end examination.

Term-End Examination:

70% weightage

Internal Assessment:

30% weightage

The internal assessment includes formative assessments, practice quizzes, discussion forums, and other activities designed to reinforce learning and track continuous progress.

Formative Assessments

Formative assessments and quizzes are shared through the Learning Management System (LMS), enabling learners to submit their responses conveniently.

Term-End
Examinations

Updated schedule and guidelines of term-end examinations are shared in advance via the academic calendar and official GLA Online portal.

Communication

All exam-related notifications will be available on the Learning Management System (LMS) notice board. Learners are advised to check for updates regularly.
